Pinguicula laueana “Red” x ehlersiae “Mighty Mouse” small bare root

This is our first in house carnivorous plant hybrid we have offered for sale! With its dewy leaves, compact size, and cheerful blush, it’s the perfect kitchen windowsill companion. Turn fruit flies into flowers with ping power! It is a cross between two excellent plants: Pinguicula laueana “Red” and Pinguicula ehlersiae “Mighty Mouse.” P. laueana “Red” has red tinted pointed leaves and large cherry red blooms, and P. ehlersiae “Mighty Mouse” is an especially large specimen for the species, with pinkish leaves and white-throated bubblegum pink flowers that resemble a mouse’s face. Their seed grown offspring show a small amount of variability, but most have pinkish tinted leaves with inward rolled margins. Our plants just reached maturity in late 2025, and we are excitedly awaiting their first bloom! We are expecting some electric pink, mousy flowers! Plants are SMALL in size, and ship BARE ROOT. At maturity, compared to other pings, they will be on the compact side of medium. You will get a plant very similar to the one pictured in the product image, except younger and smaller. It will grow to mature size in about a year if cared for well (see plant care).
