Description
Catch a perfect pop of purple with this complex Pinguicula hybrid! This flower is just a little bit pinker than the classic blue-violet cyclosecta bloom. It is just a hair rounder in shape than a typical moranensis flower, although much larger and boxier than a typical cyclosecta. Its leaves are one of the best features of this plant! When grown under light, they truly become purple! Most pings will blush red, and other colors like bronze and purple are very special. They are also incredibly close to being circular in shape. It is rare to get a complex hybrid that is less than half cyclosecta. Generally, anecdotally, cyclosecta hybrids are unlikely to be fertile. Having this wonderful little plant that’s 3/4 moranensis and 1/4 cyclosecta is a real treat. Picture is a mature plant. Plants as sold are medium bare root.
